Shirley Do, born native Californian, entered into the world of make-up artistry at the early age of 11. As far back as she could remember, her childhood consisted of her parents forcing her to watch horror films. At the time, these creatures depicted in Blockbuster films would haunt her during her sleep. As time passed, she soon discovered her childhood nightmares were purely nothing but the magic of make-up. This newfound information sparked her curiousity and she delved into a world where nothing was what it seemed to be, having not only the power to create beauty but to also bring fiction into reality.

Following her dreams, she enrolled into the Masters Program at Make-up Designory (MUD) in Burbank, CA. Where she learned everything from basic corrective beauty makeup, on set hair styling, character development, prosthetic application, and etc. Shortly after graduating she continued her education at International Institute of Permanent Cosmetic (IIPC) in Costa Mesa, CA. Where she recieved her license as a permanent makeup technician, specializing in techniques in lash enhancement, eyeliner, lip colour, eyebrow hair simulation, corrective pigment camouflage, skin needling, and etc.

Since finishing her education, she has worked on numerous film sets, music video shoots, weddings, photo shoots, documentaries, fashion shows, commercials, and tv shows. Details including credits, skill set and celebrity clientele can be found on the resume page.
